Job Description

Classification: Exempt  Reports To: Branch Manager  Direct Reports: None      Job Purpose: The Project Manager utilizes independent judgement in performing site inspections to communicate, organize, and deliver quality projects, completed on time and within budget. Communicates with the Superintendent on issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget.      Duties and Responsibilities:  • Assume responsibility for successful execution of restoration or reconstruction projects and project profitability.  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, and claim representatives.  • Prepare and maintain budgets, schedules, and ongoing project costs on multiple jobs at once.  • Ensure all projects are performed in a timely, professional, and consistent manner.  • Work closely with Superintendent to ensure successful completion of assigned jobs  • Lead, direct, train, and coach employees and subcontractors  • Visit worksite to verify progress, assist crews in resolving challenges, and answer questions.  • Understand and train on safety procedures on jobsites to minimize exposure and risk on projects.  • Attend all appropriate company meetings  • Attend regular company sponsored training sessions  • Additional duties required as needed

Work Environment:  • Jobsites may vary from exceptionally clean environments to very dirty environments or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites.  • Regularly exposed to wet, humid, hot, or frigid conditions.   • The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.  • Exposure to moderate noise in the work environment.  • Occasionally required to wear PPE: full and half face respirators, eye protection, gloves, and Tyvek®        Physical Demands:  • Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force routinely, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.  • Ascends/descends ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.  • Maintain balance in all situations.  • Push, pull and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment.  • Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.  • Coordinate movement with eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.  • See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.      Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
