Classification: Exempt Reports To: Branch Manager Direct Reports: Mitigation Technicians, Content Technicians, Cleaning Technicians
Job Purpose: The Mitigation Division Manager is responsible for providing leadership and support services on fire, mold, and restoration projects, as well as on general structure and content cleaning jobs. This position will be responsible for performing site inspections utilizing Matterport technology to document losses with accurate measurements, notes, and photographs with strong attention to detail; and estimating the cost of reconstruction for the entire project.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage project through the mitigation/remediation phase. • Work closely with Superintendent to ensure successful completion of assigned jobs. • Supervise and train field technicians and make sure they are meeting our customer service expectations. • Develop and maintain sub-contractor relationships. • Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements. • Submit estimates in a timely manner determined by company requirements. • Establish and maintain client relationships as well as relationships with insurance adjusters and claim representatives. • Prepare all budgets and schedules for assigned jobs. • Manage daily marketing activities in order to promote the company and maintain a steady supply of new work. • General maintenance and upkeep of restoration equipment, materials, fleet vehicles and warehouse. • Ensure company’s safety measures are followed.
Qualifications: • Have working knowledge of common power and hand tools in construction. • Aptitude for learning, ability to follow direction and work in a safe manner. • Working Knowledge of mobile applications including email, video and photo messaging, calendars and electronic time keeping. • Knowledge of Moisture Mapper, MICA, Xactimate and Matterport preferred • Models the CRBR Core Values • Respect – “Success through honoring ourselves and others” • Integrity – “A foundation cemented in Doing it the “Rite” way” • Teamwork – “Promoting uniformity while inspiring individualism” • Excellence – “Delivering WOW through service”
Work Environment: • Jobsites may vary from very clean environments to very dirty environments or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites. • The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
Physical Demands: • Heavy work: exer • ting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. • Ascends/descends ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. • Maintain balance in all situations. • Push, pull and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment. • Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. • Stand and walk for long periods of time. • Coordinate movement with eyes, hands, fingers, and feet. • See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.
