JOB TITLE: ROUTE TECHNICIAN
MIN. AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 YEARS OF AGE
REPORTS TO: ROUTE SUPERVISOR
SUPERVISES: NONE
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS/SKILLS: 50% of job consists of driving a company vehicle
to various locations, 50% is manual labor. When loading and unloading the truck, bending and lifting is
required. Ability to lift, carry and manipulate supplies and coin weighing up to twenty-five (25) lbs. repeatedly;
requires bending and/or reaching from floor level to approximately three (3) feet in height; requires currency
and coin handling and make accurate change; requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to
distinguish letters and symbols; work accurately with basic math; requires use of radio and calculator; requires
normal vision and hearing range and absence of color blindness; ability to communicate directly, telephonically,
electronically and by transcription with guests, general public, management and staff in English; understand and
comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other
instructions.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an area with limited access space. Ability to
tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
OBJECTIVE: Provide customer service to Golden Route locations in respect to paying jackpots, filling
machines and providing maintenance to machines in need.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
(includes but is not limited to the following):
e Practicing, supporting and promoting Golden Gaming’s “See it, Own it, Do it” company philosophy at
all times.
e Gaming machine repair.
e Hand pay’s, pay out of jackpots, fill machines.
e Complete accurately and efficiently all paper work (i.e.: Jackpot, Fill,
W2-G, Service Ticket, W-9 and 1042S).
e Check all lights on progressive signs, replace all burnt out bulbs immediately or if necessary report to
supervisor.
e Perform preventative maintenance on all gaming equipment.
e Generate GMS Reports for buy backs.
Clean, adjust and repair gaming machines, adjust monitor and troubleshoot as necessary for repair or
replacement of components.
Be able to identify and replace processor board components, programs, flash boards and batteries.
Clear jams from bill validators, clean head and transport assembly, and recalibrate.
Disassemble and reassemble, clean and troubleshoot player buttons.
Perform fills on cash dispensers.
Inspect vehicle before going out on the route and complete Vehicle Maintenance Sheet.
Promote TEAM WORK within the Route department and all other departments as it relates to your
ability to complete the tasks assigned to you, in an effort to eliminate personal conflicts. Refer all
unresolved “opportunities” (challenges/problems) to your immediate supervisor.
e Must be able to communicate effectively with Team Members, Guests and Supervisors.
e Must have excellent customer service skills.
e Troubleshoot and repair:
Progressive systems
GMS and cash dispensing systems, including on site network connections
Player tracking systems
e Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED TRAINING:
¢ Training in all aspects of the above mentioned equipment.
e Training on how to process all necessary forms of paperwork.
EDUCATION: High school education or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Good working knowledge of gaming machines and associated equipment.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
¢ Gaming Registration
e Valid Nevada Driver’s License (with clean driving record)
